We are leaving tomorrow for Spokane, Coeur d'Alene and White fish Montana.
Is there anything we should do out there?

Ride the gondola up Silver Mountain, go to flathead lake, explore Glacier National Park, hike in the mountains around Lake Couer d'Alene, drive over Moon Pass, see a silver mine in Wallace and learn about the big burn, ride the Hiawatha trail, over trails and through the 2 mile Taft Tunnel under the continental divide, burgers at Hudson's in CDA, walk Sherman Ave...

🤣 PM me if you want more ideas!

Ken P.

Well we made it back. Washington was pretty closed.

Coeur d'Alene was wide open. We went trout fishing in the CDA river, caught about 10, 3 16" or more. Had a boat ride on the lake, missed Hudson's.

Checked out Flathead, hard to miss. Glacier was only open to the Lodge so that was weak. Lots of places were not open.

Had dinner in Whitefish with the Great Grandson of the '37 Packard I posted.

Thanks for all the advice, helped to know what to look for.

Bill

Glad you enjoyed! Sounds like you had fun. That's where I grew up, and I'm looking forward to getting back there in a few years!

Ken,

I have a friend in the Pierce club that is from Coeur d'Alene and he gave us some travel tips, also.

It was beautiful but cold (low 50's) and rainy.

Got back to Atlanta to 90/90 (degrees/humidity) Fireworks from the air were spectacular coming into Atlanta at 9-9:30.
