Hey guys I came across a 1956 Packard Caribbean convertible that the owner may sell the cool thing about it is it has a paint code of N
Single color exterior with a red and white interior my question is how rare is it to be a single color exterior of Maltese Gray ? Thanks

Though the 1956 Caribbean convertible roster as pubished in the CNB back in 1987 indicates two were built with single color paint code N, by reviewing the build slip data I can only identify one, car # 121. In total, there were 31 single color 1956 Caribbean convertibles, 25 in two-tone.

Car #121 had trim code 96, red and white leather/grey cloth and white leather

G'day bigfins,
to PackardInfo.

If perchance, you should buy the single colour '56 Caribbean, I invite you to include it in the Packard Vehicle Registry.

No, I don't. Later this evening unless someone beats me to it I'll check the roster of Caribbean survivors to see if it has survived. Back in 1987 it was listed as "unknown".

Update. #121 was an export car delivered to Bergen, Norway. According to my latest info, it has not survived.

Owen , I see that you are a wealth of knowledge on Caribbean’s , thanks again for the info and it makes the car even cooler to me that it is the only known survivor in that color .

I've maintained a keen interest in the 1956 Caribbean convertibles, I owned #254 for better than 20 years, just sold it in 2019.
