What do you guys put on the leatherette type covering on your trunks to protect them from the sun and UV light?

Thanks!

I know it’s not a Packard, but I have a similar trunk on my ‘Brand X’. Every once and awhile I’ll clean with Armor-All, especially the leather straps which will soak-up the liquid quite a bit. I keep the trunk covered when the car is in the garage, so the total time the trunk is in full sunlight is limited.

I begin the process with a micro-fiber towel and distilled water to remove the Arizona dirt and Brand X exhaust soot. If I’m especially motivated I’ll follow-up with some Windex, and then another water wipe. Following that the Armor-All applied with a clean cloth. A solder paste brush is used to apply the Armor-All on the straps, and other ‘real leather’ corner pieces.
