Hello all: We have a 1930 726 in progress. We have a chance to acquire an Owens Dyneto starter motor for a spare. The starter motor on the car is a DI-850. It seems to start the engine well. The one offered us is a DH-695. Any thoughts on which is correct would be greatly appreciated!

Parts book states DI 850 is correct for 7th series standard 8 - 733 and 726. DH 695 is correct6 for 3rd, 4th and 5th series 6. I thought also suitable for 626 and 633 1929 Standard 8's but parts book doesn't mention this. DH 693 is for the larger 8's 6th and 7th series.

Mal, seeing lots of flooding on BBC in Queensland and New South Whales and Sydney. Hope you and your family are staying dry and safe. Let us know how you and others are doing. Take care.
