For those of you familiar with the finned headlight rings. Is there a source for the metal tabs that go on the fender for the top screw of the headlight ring ? Looking at fabricating my own but, if there is a source for them, that would be ideal.....TIA

If it's part of the fender, I don't know of any. But one may adapt something that's out there. Depends how much is left what route to go. You may be able to use a clip or J nut or something available, if there's enough metal left and clearance.
Grafting from a spare fender is the best option. You can weld a screw nut on or use a small weld nut, if can get that small. There's also those crimp nuts that might work but you need the tool and room to get it in.

It’s just a bit of steel that attaches to the fender with a couple screws and helps support the heavy rims. I have two 1954 Patricians so if photos would help, I would be happy to supply them when I’m at my shop in a couple days. Since they are one year, senior only, I doubt anyone is reproducing them but maybe Max Merritt has NOS.

Hi Don, I would like to see how the senior headlight chrome ring with fin is attached too. Please post the pictures. Thanks.

Will do! Heading to Oregon tomorrow morning and it will take a couple days to get settled in so in case you haven’t heard by Friday or so, just drop a PM with a reminder! It is likely I even have a pair of spares from the parts car but whether I can find them or not is another matter unless they’re still attached.

Here at my shop now and this is what the little brackets look like. It's a bit more involved than I had originally thought!

Thank you ! Those pics are exactly what I needed... Being a retired aircraft mechanic, I can easily fabricate those with no problem. My plan is to JB Weld them to the fenders instead of drilling holes.

Glad to help and I may even have a spare pair but if you're able to make your own, all the better!
