Brake Shoes

I'm trying to figure out what shoes go where. On the shoes 2 have 9" on lining and 2 shoes with 13 of lining. The remaining 4 all have 12" of lining, but in slightly different locations on the shoe frame.

Which ones go on the front and which one is the front shoe. Plus the same for the rear brakes?

I'm guessing the Front-Front is the 9" and the 12" A or 12" B would be the Front-Rear.

Where Front-Front is front brakes shoe on the front.

Original factory lining lengths can be found in the Specifications section of the 1955-56 service manual on this site.
Front shoes are 2-1/4" wide, primary (front) lining 11-1/2" long and secondary (rear) lining 13" long
Rear shoes are 2'' wide with same primary and secondary lining lengths as the front

BDeB thanks for the response. Right after I posted the light bulb went off and I looked Spec. section and wrote up the info you posted. In my haste or maybe I was distracted, but in any case I didn't click on Submit.

Again Thanks
