I have a reproduction standard 8 water jacket i noticed the holes in it at the cylinders are 1/2 inch diameter. I also have 1 that i copied from and original and the holes at the cylinders are 11/16 in diameter. Has anyone had any problems with over heating on the reproduction water jackets?

My holes on my waterjacket were either 1/2 or 5/8". No problems here. That was for a 31 Standard 8.
