Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

Thanks for the link. I'm always wary when the only images are obvious scans of pictures taken with a film camera, and the car has a plate on it that NY stopped using in 2001. I imagine the owners are leaving a good amount of money on the table by not (yet) posting up-to-date info.

EDIT: Info was added. Car looks nice overall, would probably be a good buy for the early 50's enthusiasts.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

Based on great internet photos, I made a deposit on a similar Patrician many years ago. I can't find the VIN of that car. In that case the original 9 main bearing 327 engine had been replaced by a 288. The seller was unaware of the engine replacement. I wanted the correct engine. Ask for the engine number if the 327 9 main bearing is important to you.
