Does the defrost motor get power from the key switch same as heater motor

It does. You can run a separate lead with an inline fuse over to the GA terminal on ign sw so both are independently fused or my Custom has a single inline fuse off GA connected to the Heater sw. There is a short jumper that connects the power on the BAT terminal of the Heater sw to the BAT terminal on the Defroster sw. Both switches are powered thru a single inline fuse and as I recall it has a 20 amp fuse in the holder.
