Kev,

I have limited literature on Packards but I am willing to scan the Parts Manual (for models 726 thru 904) and Service Manual (for models 626, 633, 640, 645)I have and send it off to you. Is that okay for me to do that?

Does anyone have a copy of the Service Manual for the 8th series? If so I am willing to trade a copy of the 6th series for the 8th series. Or I will make a copy of the 6th series for you.

Thanks
Tom

Tom,

Thanks that would be great. You can either email, FTP it, or SnailMail it. Your choice. FTP and SnailMail are the usual choices do to the size of the scanned/copied material.

Some people have also sent me the materials to scan for them if they don't have access to a scanner.

Just let me know which is the best for you and I will provide you the addressing information.

Thanks,

Kev,

We have a pretty decent copy machine here at work that copies it right to PDF format. Is a PDF ok? If so I will bring books in tomorrow scan them and send them off to you.

We have a limit on file sizes we can send out through email here at work. So I think FTP would be the best way to go.

Keep on Motoring our Packards
Tom

Kev, I've noticed that the "read/unread" indicators seem to not be working for me on the main forum. I read a thread, the section I'm in seems to know I've read it, but the main forum doesn't. Any ideas?

Eric,

I need to make a change to the PHP code that manages those. For some reason this Forum module stores all that in a cookie that is machine bound. So if you login from another machine it resets them. I am going to write my own management code to fix it, but I havent had the chance yet. I usually use the "10 Most Recent" as my short cut for the moment. So hopefully I should be able to get it fixed soon, thanks for you patience.
