VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Restoration was done 20 years ago, 2 owners ago. Previous owner did a complete strip and paint, with and overhaul of the engine, transmission and brakes. I reconditioned, and eventually replaced the fuel tank and did a minor tune up. I installed seat belts. I replaced the front bumper assembly. Replaced with fresh chromed pieces. Freshened up the engine compartment little by little and corrected minor paint and trim issues. Recently had the following work done: plugs, wires, ca rotor, points, condenser, carburetor rebuild, tune and fuel pump. In September 213 I participated in a photo shoot with Auto Bild Motor Revue at the ruins of the Packard plant in Detroit.This 1955 Packard Clipper was prominently displayed in a 12 page spread in the January 2014 issue of the magazine. The car was featured on the 2015 premier of the show "Mobsteel"on NBCSN. Brakes rebuilt, 2015. (Rebuilt Bendix Treadle-vac booster, rebuilt and honed wheel cylinders and new brake lines installed). | ||||
