VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | ThePatrician was 1% complete but suffering from lack of use when I purchased her from Bob Somer's widow. I replaced fluids and rubber all around, bebuilt the power brakes and Ultramatic. After driving her for about 2, miles I pronounced her a candidate for restoration as a driver. We've put on over 3, milessince purchaseand her engine and mechanicals get better every year. After her limited restoration she was shown at the 26 Mid Atlanitic AACA Meet which resulted in being invited to the 27 Hilton Head Concourse de' Elegance. My wife and I drove her both waysand drew lots of attention. She was pronounced the best "driver" shownat Hilton Head by her gou of judges. My wife Iparticipated in the 213 Linclon Highway Association Tour. We drove from Chesapeake VA to San Francisco CA via New York City without any problems. Everyone comments favorably of the Bikini Blue color. | ||||
