VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | p "Lucy" is her name. pFound car in San Antonio, owner had bought a bunch ofPackards from a failed Louisiana museum, so I bought this one and a 49 Super Dlx Convertible. Restored to 95+% by Packard Custom Auto in Santa Ana. Replaced ultramatic with Chrysler 727 torq-flite automatic conversion (runs great, and never have to worry about the ultramatic acting up). Only regret is it doesn't have 3 spd OD. pMechanically a 1% dependable car starts everytime hot or cold, runs cool. | ||||
