VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
Same owner since 3/8/1958...Garage kept until he parked it because he had some trans problems.
1st buyer bought it about a yr ago from owner and pulled the motor out to fix trans and left it sitting for awhile. He then sold it to another person who was going to restore the car but for some reason decided to resell the car. I paid 18. for the car and I feel I bought a pretty nice car that needs the motor put back in and some paint.

We have had the car for 2 days and the engine was locked up. We have added some oil and let it set a bit and we have it turning most of the way...we are just gonna get our hands a bit dirty and go from there.

1st ste
is getting it running and then do the and repaint back to the jade/green color

Update 7/17/212
The engine is back in and running. No leaks, knocks, rattles or pings. We painted the engine compartment and we degreased and power sprayed the motor and decided that the 57 yr old engine color was the way to go and plucked it back in. We figured we would wait and see what repairs would need to be done after getting it running. So far we are looking good and hoping to have it back on the road by this weekend.
This was a very easy car to put back together because the guy who pulled the motor and car apart put all the bolts into baggies and a piece of paper inside that said where the bolts belonged. It made the job so much easier than all of the stuff in a bucket!

I have never had a Packard and I am truly impressed with this car.
