VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
I bought this car in the mid nineties. It ran warm and vapor locked but i enjoyed it as best I could. Went through a tough patch and the car ended u
sitting outside for 7 years under various tarps. As each one rotted away I would add a new one. The last 2 years were spent with the windows down. Thoroughly disgusted I proceeded to list this on Cl to sell it and buy a Landcruiser to get a little more modern classic car. I finally scraped the rotting tar
off to see how bad the interior was so I could provide an accurate cl description and much to my surprise, it wasn't as bad as I thought. So I deleted my cl ad and sent the car off to my mechanic and he brought it back to life. He put the correct size tires on it and went through all the mechanics and has everything running correctly. The Toyota is now on cl, and my son and I enjoy taking this car out to Sonic or the Snack Shack for ice cream regularly. I need to do one more round of mechanical work and a paint job in the future.
