VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:

This car had been purchased in 22 from a car dealer in Dallas, Texas and moved to Lubbock, Texas but nothing was done to the car. The driver side door has oil change and service stickers from Hensen's DX Service Station in Creston, Iowa. The last sticker has the same 26,171 miles written on it 2 times which is the odometer reading and the it works. Pulled the 288 motor and the transmission/ R11 overdrive unit and put in my other 1948 Packard to replace a blown transmission/ R9 overdrive. The motor is very clean inside and turns freely. Planning on using this for my other 2 1948 Packards.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS:
Removed 288 8cylinder motor, 3 speed manual transmission w/R11 overdrive. Used the transmission/ R11 only in my other Packard. Still have the rest of the car and motor.
