VEHICLE HISTORY/

This Packard was purchased new at the International Harvester Dealershi
in Hobart, OK by James Swanson of Cooperton, OK. His wife kept the car until she passed away and it put u
on blocks until the estate was settled in 1971. The car was then purchased by Gus Young owner of the Mountain View Motel in Mountain View, OK. Gus kept the car u
and made all the parades with his wife and daughter. Gus had the car repainted and did away with the original Blue and went with White/ Egypian Sand and had the interior reupholstered. The transmission appeared to try to go into forward and reverse at the same time in 1995 and shattered the transmission. Before repairing the car Gus passed away and the car sat in building behind the motel with the blown transmission and driveling in the trunk. I purchased the car from Gus's daughter December 3, 212 and wreckered it back to Roosevelt, OK. The 1th of December 212 I purchased a complete 195 Packard Deluxe Eight Touring Sedan in Lubbock, TX and used the transmission/ R11 OD in this car and drove in in a parade 22 Dec 212. We have driven it to 3 car shows so far this summer. Hopefully we can continue with the parades and car shows.
