align font colorfont face sizefontKellow Falkner originally sold the car/fontfontto K/fontfontevin Skinner from 23 Belgrave Rd. Malvern East, Melbourne. The history between 1938 and 1963 is currently not known./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeIn 1963 Graham Ashmore in Lilydale purchased the car from a deceased estate in very poor condition all the internal leather upholstery was shredded and paint work all cracked, nothing much was done to the vehicle until after November 1968 Fred McGeary became the new owner./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeFred did a spare time restoration, which took him 4½ years to complete. He found that the motor was reasonably sound, but that he had to recondition the water &am
fuel pumps and reline the brakes. The paintwork was stripped back to bare metal and repainted &ldquoPackard Blue&rdquo. The interior was completely taken out and re-trimmed in Dralon Bone Velvet. Carpets and head linings, plus the boot trim were also replaced. This is not correct for a Packard, but one day I may have it re-trimmed correctly./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeEvery year from 1972 until 1981 the car won the best Packard concourse award at the Classic &am
Historic Automobile Club of Australia rally. Other awards were also won during this period./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeWhen Fred could drive no more, he sold the car in 1997 to Norm McBride from Dromana. Norm did some restoration work on the engine and replaced the gearbox and differential. He kept the car for less than 12 months and then sold it to Graham Nicholls from The Basin in February 1998./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeJeff &am
Marie Meyer purchased the car from Graham in March 22. It was purchased with the plan to use it as an all weather car to attend various Packard and Car Club functions when it was impractical to use the 193 Packard 733 Roadster. It has been on the 22 Ansett Challenge to Adelaide and the Packard 22 Outback Rally to Broken Hill./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeIn 23 when fitting a new water pum
one of the screws damage cylinder number one's wall, so the engine was pulled down and completely rebuilt by Ken Hill in Baxter with parts imported from the USA. The gear box was also overhauled and the complete engine chain harmonically balanced. A new radiator was also fitted./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeThe master cylinder over hauled and brake lines changed to steel from copper. Wheel cylinder brakes kits were also installed./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeThe engine was put back in the car in 21, but during the down period 7 years the bonnet, bumper bar and front grill all rusted due to sweating under the covers./font/font/font

align font colorfont facefont sizeAs at February 214 the vehicle is still in this state and is a long term restoration process that will be completed when spare finances are available./font/font/font
