VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | This car was sold in France to the first owner in 1956, Dept. Drome. It has kilometers instead of mileson de speedometer.The car bears halfway trims on the side like the 1955 model. The car was sold to a Dutch owner (an auto mechanic)in 1996, who performed a off restauration, with the exception of the engine, which is still in its original shape. The engine performs well, has a beautiful sound, starts well and has a quit run and performs well. In Holland the car was infrequently used for wedding parties.I bought the car January 2015 and am probably the third owner.We drove the carto Belgium, North of Brussels and it is now registered as an (almost 6 years old) oldtimer according to Belgian regulations. The car amazes friends, family and neighbors! It is huge and beautiful and drives like a sailing boat in comparison to my Volvo S8 and Saab cabrio 9-3. | ||||
