VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
Car is originally from Watertown, NY. Still has a Northro
Motor Co. (Arsenal St.) service sticker from the 6s in the door jam. Purchased non-running in March 214. Started engine, replaced fuel tank and replaced master cylinder. Passed NYS safety inspection that August. Engine needs rings and all chrome needs restoration.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS:
Replaced BTV master cylinder with 7" double diaphragm booster from Summit and single piston master from a 1967 VW Beetle with drum brakes (17mm bore). Parts are coupled with adapter plate of my own design/construction. Good stopping and pedal feel. Looks original from inside. Car came with Marvel Inverse Oiler installed. Rewired headlights with Bosch relays (Tyco 6V) and Wagner halogen lamps. The relays increased voltage to the headlamps from 5.4V (engine off) to 6.27V.
