VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Owning a Packard was on my "bucket list." I was looking for a '55 4 like the one my uncle had that he let me drive when new but couldn't find a nice one I could afford. I remember washing and servicing the 22 and 23 series cars when I was in high school and worked at the local service station, and I always liked the fastback models of that era - the '49 Merc coupes, the Hudson Hornets, even the Nash bathtubs.
