VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
This Packard was purchased in Lyme, Conn. in April 1967 from the stored stock of a closed dealership. The car was purchased by my father and he promptly sold his 194 Ford project and began work on this coupe. He and I worked to restore the coupe and it was his daily driver while stationed in Groton Conn. When transferred to Orlando FL, the car was driven there and was his daily driver in Orlando. In my senior year of high school, this car was my daily driver. The car was formally given to me before my Father passed. While I was building my family and my farm and raising mychildren, I left thecar parked in its usual spot inmyMom'sgarage. It was parked there for 25 years, before I finally felt I had a secure place to kee
it. It is now in Gainesboro and I am working on mechanical problems manifested after years of neglect. She need a full brake overhaul, shock rebuilds, radiator work, ignition switch armor cable repair and roof insert repair. I am sure other things will manifest as I get her moving again. I have joined this forum to get hel
with some of the dis-assembly I do not understand. My goal is to use the coupe as a driver and take my younger sons to a show or two.
Vehicle Modifications
