VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Just purchased (March '16) and starting to get it in better shape Nov '16: Heads redone by B&G Machine sho in Alvin, TX (Bobby). Replaced exhaust valves with new SS ones from Egge. New bronze exhaust valve guides,. New springs (Kanter), new valve seat retainer (the hardened ones) from Max. Clean u intake valves, machined heads to accept modern positive intake valve stem seals. Removed oil baffles from heads. Jan'17: Engine short block redone by Westside Performance (Kleat) in Houston, Jan '17. Replaced all pistons and rings with Egge +.3. Reground crank, +.2 main bearings, +1 rod bearings, new cam bearings. Maintained original cam, new lifters, New timing chain and gears. | ||||
