VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
This auto needs no restoration and I consider myself fortunate to have her.I have not seen a car with the lt gray wood grain in my research. My goal is preservation with regular maintenance and replacement of worn items such as rubber door seals for complete road worthiness. It has 15,6 miles with attached service tags showing service in 1965 with 965 miles. I have replaced the original Packard labeled fan belt. My research shows the car was purchased new from a Boise,Idaho, dealer.I have the original keys with a leather key fob from an insurance company in Nampa, Idaho with a three digit phone number. The local agency is still in business with same family ownership. I am the sixth owner but only the previous two are known. I am still in search of the farm family that was the original owner. I have had the cleaned, buffed and sealed. Some minor mechanicals are being addressed and some door and the trunk gaskets are being replaced. Rebuilding the fuel pum
will also be necessary.
