I found this Packard back in 1986 or 87, when I was

divworking at Mel Burns Ford in Long Beach Ca./div
div It was on the used car lot, on consignment. The owner/div
divhad not been heard from for about 3 years, so the used car/div
divmanager sold me the car for $35./div
div I drove it home... old gas and all/div
divAt some time I did a valve job done and installed the harden seats./div
divused the Dodge 318 lifters/div
divCar has always been a good driver, many trips to Tucson Az/div
divand to Las Vegas/div

Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS:

divI'm installing front Disc brakes at this time, using the F150/div
divsetup that Paul used. I am also installing a Hydroboost system/div
divfrom a Mustang v8, and using a remote master cylinder fill Installing new brake lines "poly armor"/div
divThe transmission was rebuilt back in the late 80's by Bob/div
divdown in Vista Ca.. he was in his late 70's then./div
div I installed all new wheel cylinders, right after I bought the car/div
divand I've had the power brake unit rebuilt twice that is why I'm switching to the Hydroboost, It's just smarter in the Ca traffic./div
divI've been driving and had the brake fluid disappear from the MC/div
divSorry don't have a good pic of the Packard on this computer... any longer/div
