VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
Obtained in 1958 from Mr. Frank Fung, the Pastor of the Chinese Gospel Mission in Sacramento, Ca. I was 12 Years Old.

It was one of many cars that had been donated to the church my father was a mechanic that kept them running in order to be used as Sunday School "bus" transportation.

I had actually ridden to Sunday School in this Packard..

In the late 197's, she was one of the stars on an episode of the Walton's TV series. The studios painted her for the filming with water color and washed her back to normal before returning her.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS:
Engine overhauled in 1962 replaced cracked block 1938 engine with 1939 in about 1975,

"gun metal gray" repainted to blue in about 1965, repainted again in about 1976 to brown and tan, and in 2012 to silver and dark gray.

Gray mohair interior done in mid 90's is still in great condition.

Still a work in progress, but a driver for fun
