VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | pIt was a police car sometime in its past. It will be restored long termas a localpolice car.I am going to use it as a daily driver and car show/cruise night car. pAs work progresses though, im just enjoying driving it around! pI heard about this car purely by accident. i was at a car show with my friend, showing his 54 henney junior. I heard a man talking to someone else about a local police department having an old packard police car they wanted to get rid of. I left the show early and went to the town the man had mentioned. it turned out they had traded it three years ago. I went to the next department, and they were thrilled that there was someone out there who wanted to restore the old girl. It had come u to auction before with no bids and was soon destined for a crusher. In terms of a small world, the rollback driver who delivered my 55 parts car was one of the mechanics who had worked on the car in the past. p p p/a | ||||
