VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Bought from Joe D'Ambrosio in Houston, TX Sept 2 who had bought the car from a The Old Ones in Wabash, IN (titled in IN in 1996) and stored it for 2.5 years. Reportedly the car was owned by a farmer in Michigan for 16 years before that and was driven around his farm for fun. Car was originally sold by Mooers Packard in Richmond, Virginia (6-18-4). The car must have spent some time in North Carolina as well. There is the remnant of a North Carolina Farm Bureau bumper sticker on the rear bumper. I am an amateur restorer and my intent is to kee the car as original as possible using the correct parts, materials and fasteners etc. (i.e. do no harm). Project Goal is to get the car into running shape and have some fun driving it while restoring it. I am in the process of rebuilding the brakes, installing a new wiring harness and putting a rebuilt gas tank back in with new fuel lines. Would be glad to hear from other one-sixty owners on restoring their cars. | ||||
