VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | This Packard was initially delivered to its first customer in Glenns Falls, NY, through the Mott Fraser Corp. on the 26th of June 1937. It eventually made its way back to its birthplace in Michigan. A restoration was performed in the 80s on a none-rusted frame and body. This 120C Touring Coupe participated in the 2009 Opus II 1937 Packard Showroom in Warren, Ohio, for the 110th anniversary of the Packard Motor Company at the National Packard Museum. I acquired it on the 6th of April 2018 in New Boston, MI, at 88,781 miles (odometer reading), and I have shown it at many car shows and venues at the Packard Proving grounds, and we covered 3,300 plus worry-free miles since. All accessories, options, and original equipment, incl. its radio, work as intended. Only the fuel tank sender unit requires attention. It is an excellent piece of Detroit history, and we enjoy cruising in it every time. We even participated in the 2020 Back to the Bricks Road Rally (100+ miles) and were on its cover. | ||||
