VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
The only factory catalogued 1942 Rollson Town Car known to exist. Sold new to Cory family of coffee percolator fame in New York. My ste
father (Jerry Peterson) traded a 1939 BMW 327 roadster even u
in 1972. The trade included a spare 356 engine. The Packard would certainly have been used as a parts car if it hadn't been a town car. It was in rough, rough shape, and barely worth restoring.
My brother, Wyatt, bought it from my step-father in the late 197s and had it professionally restored. Completed around 198, scoring 1 points in CCCA competition, also receiving CCCA Premier status. It has been used on several CARavans since, but still is in excellent show condition.
