VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
1/3/9 Under restoration. Car was in basket case condition when purchased and not suitable for an original restoration. The car was dissassembled for restoration in the early sixties and the chassis was partialy restored. Unfortunatly the farmer who was restoring it died in the late sixties before he could do much more to it, and it was pushed into his barn and stored until the people I bought it from bought it at the estate sale of the farmer's wife a few years ago. The people I bought it from did no work on it, and sold it to me when they tired of storing it. This is what I was looking for as I wanted a Packard I could re-build into a period speedster.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS:
1/3/09 Engine, trans, steering crossmembers, ect. were relocated rearward about 18 inches in
the original 126 in WB chassis and the original 6 was replaced with a
1930 Packard 8 which was located in Oregon. The will be custom
made in my hobby shop from steel and is designed to be a 2 seater
boattail speedster.
