VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
pI found this car in 1979 in the Detroit area. The picture is as I found it. It ran and shifted well (yard drives only). This car was purchased new in May 1937 from the Daye W. Compton dealershi
in Detroit. It had sat in a field for sometime so the soft to
had disintergrated and the interior was shot. Floor boards were gone. Right rear fender had fallen off the bead. There is enough left on the door panels to make a pattern. I started disassembly and after I got the front cli
off discovered too much rot in the frame for me to deal with. Then life took over (finish college, first job move, second job move, get married, buy a house, have kids, etc, etc). When I bought my first house with a garage my dad promptly shipped the car to me.

pCurrent status - In 1996 I purchased another 12 sedan with a solid and frame. This went into storage until last year. We're building one car out of two. May not make sense for this model but it's a matter of pride after 3 years and hey, it's my first Packard.
