VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Originally sold to Philadelphia dealership in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, purchaser unknown. It had remained in the general area through at least 3 previous owners until I brought it to Michigan. Purchased as a project by both myself and prior 2 owners. Running and mostly driving condition, though needs a good tuning and all fuel/ignition parts either refurbished or replaced. Current intention is to remove rust and get it protected from further deterioration. After, it will be brought to a safely drivable condition and slowly restored back to like new and capable of being driven on transcontinental trips.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS: | No known modifications from factory, will be kept as close to factory character as possible while making it a more comfortable and capable driver suitable to long distance, trans-continental tours. Planned additions are Dynamat sound dampening, insulation, heater, higher ratio rear end and either an overdrive unit or two speed rear. Possible intention to do restoration as a "post depression" factory/dealer refurbishment of paint job, some updates and added accessories, all in keeping with period correct.
