VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | The vehicle has had a rich history with the Nordic Packard Owners Club, and has been with it for several owners. It was first owned by Ole Böök, who I believe bought it in 1975 while he lived in the U.S., two years afterwards it imported to Sweden and was then owned by the Wettersand family, which did the majority of the work on it, including rebuilding the engine. Then it was owned by my friend Jan who owns a 1956 Caribbean Convertible. It was then sold in 2011 to the owner before me who rebuilt the transmission, but did not drive the car often. Then in October 2022, me and my father jointly bought it, and now it is once more back in the NPOC. With the car came a Packard mechanic's overalls that Ole Böök had, an original owner's manual for the car, two folders containing both memorabilia of the car with its previous owners and technical information with restoration details. | ||||
