VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | My dad bought the car under the influence of his friend, the late Mary Ellen Dohrs, who designed the interior of the ‘55 Caribbean at age 25, while working primarily for GM. Mrs. Dohrs was the first woman in GM’s design house. She was as faithful, brilliant, vigorous, colorful, and adventurous as her designs. My dad later sold the car to me. | ||||
