VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | The car was originally sold in Webster, Mass in April, 1932 by the "Webster Place Motor Car Company" who is still in business today as a Ford dealership. A service sticker in the door jamb says it was serviced on December 22, 1953 in Newton Centre, Mass. The car was last registered in Sparks, Nevada in May, 1969. The front tires (rotted) are the Allstate brand that were discontinued by Sears & Roebuck in 1969. The Nevada owner passed away a few years ago and the car was purchased from his son who says it has been parked in his dad's garage since about 1970. No other history is known. | ||||
Vehicle Modifications | |||||
MODIFICATIONS: | The car is basically stock except someone tried unsuccessfully to install a Carter BB-1 carburetor. The fuel line and throttle linkage for the Carter were never connected. The original Detroit Lubricator 51 carburetor is missing. | ||||
