VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
was rolled at less than a year old. my uncle saw it at the local packard dealer being rebuilt and fell in love with it. around 7 years latter she was his. At this time she became the second in the line of the "dragon" the first was my uncles 55 super sedan, the "flying dragon" if anyone can hel
me locate that car i'd be very greatful. last know location was San Antonio tx area. The "green dragon" as stated was second in the line. after getting tired of twin's he installed a lincon o/d trans. which had problems. then the bus trans which is still in her to this day. after swapping in the 352 from a 56 custom he added a carib 2x4 intake with afb's (no longer have, but i want back! help! ) put "hash" bearings in it, changed the rear gears to 3.7to1 and went drag racing. first time out she won a tropy and set a track record that supposedly stood for 11 years. i still have the trophy too. then he sold the dragon to his little brother, who raced it dayly on the way to work. it was then sold to the son of first uncle's 8th grade science teacher. where she sat neglected for 2 years untill i finally managed to locate her. it took another 6 years for me to get her back. Altough she won't be "restored" i am try'n my hardest to have her ready for nationals this year in branson mo. which is less than an hour from home! CURRENT STATUS: THE DRAGON HAS SURVIVED THE JOPLIN TORANDO AND IS SAFE. MINOR DAMAGE, RESTORATION ON HOLD
