VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Purchased from a consignment auction in Tecumseh, MI, the car was in fairly good condition for its age. I was able to drive it 40miles home from the auction, with a strong odor of mouse wafting through the interior. In speaking to the owner, the car had been stored for a long time in a dry barn with a stamped clay floor which certainly contributed to the rust free condition of the body. The gentleman was not the original owner, nor had much in the way of information on the car's history. The car is currently undergoing refurbishment. The engine has been serviced and cleaned up with new oil, points/condenser, spark plugs, & wired. All brake components have been completely overhauled and restored to new condition. Starting soon on body work and paint. The interior will be stripped down to bare metal and completely replaced with new covering. | ||||
