VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
This car was found at a salvage yard in Michigan, where it had been stored in a shed for many years. It bore a 1951 California license plate (9L7355). Car was transported to Colorado Springs to begin a frame-off restoration. When the engine was pulled, we determined the block was badly cracked, so given the overall derilect condition of this car, I decided to significantly customize it. I decided to make it a fully modern 7 passenger convertible sedan. The to
has been cut off, the frame and bolstered, panels refabricated, chasis finished with mustang II front-end, GM inline 6 modified to produce 4 HP, and air suspension. The rear doors have been re-hinged off the C pillar (suicided). My biggest concern has been the engineering for the convertible top. I've been trying tolocateas much information as I can on the '47 Derham convertible sedans. Completion is expected in 21.
Vehicle Modifications

All original gauges and instruments will be retained and working to retain the wonderful 1947 look./p
