VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
This car was first sold to Mr. Wrigley (the chewing gum magnate) in 1925. Years later it was given to his chauffeur and many years after that it was sold to "Pacific Auto Rental" who rented old cars to the movie industry when my father-in-law (Orin Thorkildsen) bought it in the 5's.It wasrepainted and reupholstered then.

I inherited thea href1925 2-43/afrom my father in law Orin Thorkildsen who I've

heard it said had one of the best old car collections on the west
cost. He told me that Wrigley gave it to his chauffeur. It then wound up
with some company that would rent cars to the movie studios (supposedly
used in "The Untouchables) and my father in law bought it from them.

I do have some old articles that where written in the "Sterling Transit" monthly, a company mag. produced by his company.

I also found under the seat a little brass plate that had written on SOLD BY Earl C Anthony California Distributor.

VIN. No. on inside firer wall = 28273

On engine block = 1124

On transmission housing Pa href685/a

On frame just to the left of steering column = * 28397 A *

On right rear floor = 241-649

Do you know if I can substantiate this and if so how?

Many Thanks: Cal
