VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Twice owned be noted Packard specialist Tom Crook, whofound the car in Connecticut. He then sold it to a local collector in the Seattle, WA. area, who years later exchanged it for another Packard. It was then Purchased by an eye surgeon in Pittsburgh, PA., who owned it for 12 years and participated in numerous tours,including two Glidden Tours.He loaned it to a Hollywood production company for an extended period, and it appears in the opening scene of the movie "Hoffa" with actors Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito. I purchased it in 21, and began a thorough mechanical and cosmetic restoriation It's a superb road car which itches to be driven quickly, especially since the recent installation of a high speed rear end. | ||||
