VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
pThe car was purchased by my Father around 1961 from the original owner in Washington, Pa. The Orig owner had the dealer convert the car to a 1 4bl carb and column shift. My father restored the car to the original equipment. My parents drove the car for around 6 years and then my father decided to do a full restoration. 3 or more years and one flood later..he gave me the car. It was rusted out from the flood, mildew in the interior and in pieces. I had to do a total restoration on the car including the interior. It took around 13 years to complete due to parts problems and the fact that I refused to borrow against the car to complete it. It got down to Florida in Feb 27. Since then I have been working on problems that weren't address in the restoration. I drive the car at least weekly and take it to some cruise in in Central Florida. I plan on keeping the car till I got to the old folks home!
