INTERIOR DESCRIPTION: | Dark Green Broadcloth and Light Green Nylon. Original Seat
Covers (clear plastic) still on the seats. All bezels and dash
paraphenalia still intact in decent condition with the addition
of a starter button for the ignition. Steering wheel, brake and
transmission handle are not cracked or glazed. Remnants of rug
still attached to floor. Car strangly clean for having sat and
has the original, but rusted jack and equipment. | EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION: | Spent the first ~15 years in Pennsylvania then sat for 40 years in a field. Very
rusty underside with holes in several places. Must have been parked on street as
drivers side has the worst rusted panels. Nearly all but one or two small pieces
of chrome still on vehicle. All of the 1954 only pieces are there. Unfortunatly
a L shaped piece is broken off of the grill rendering it worthless. No evidence
of nesting save one, a beehive in a rusted out back door. Kept all of the other
animals away. | ||

VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | pSold new at Lancaster Packard to a Ms.(?) Draude on 1-28-54. Original Title came with car. Used for transportation there in Lancaster for about 15 years. Soldunder the condition that the car not be parted out to Jonsey Used Cars in Wilson, NC on March 2, 1969. Car transported then sat for the next 4 years till I bought it for the extras. pCar number is 54724221 making it the 2221 Cavalier built so the Gear Start Ultramatics must be put in the very last few Packards in 1954. Although 15 years of salty winters and 4 years of sitting, the car is remarkably complete down to the "Packard Motor Car" set of keys. Supposidly the mileage of around 18 on the odometer is correct but unverified. The completness and unmolested (but deterioraing) interior supports this. Depending on the engine I may try to resurrect the car for a daily driver instead of parting out. | ||||
