VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | Previous owner drove the car every day, just an old beater for him, he passed away and his daughter had the car in the driveway for several years. Upholstery and paint are worn and faded from sitting. Hubcaps and all chrome is in the trunk and there are three small rust spots needing repair (obviously done poorly during re-paint). The best part is the engine bay, motor was rebuilt and underhood was repainted in the original colors and restored with all new parts.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS: | Have a concept idea for this car. Original owner has pretty much insured that a restoration would be prohibitively expensive, sooo I want to build a reliable daily driver based on what the factory might have done if they had built a factory custom sports sedan in 1954. I am converting to 12V, mainly for the ease of adapting accessories, like modern A/C compressor (original is missing) and electric power windows, which my car does not (hydraulic) have. I have a McCulloch blower I found on E-bay and am collecting parts to eventually supercharge the motor. Modifications are being made without compromising the car so things can be reversed at a later date.
