VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
54 This is my 1st car I bought it when I was 19 in Jan 1976. It is pretty much as it was then it had 46k miles with cloth spark plug wires, a staple on the fan belt smart as I was I put new on and throw away old. I never heard of oil injectors so I cleaned out the gunk in the glass jar and put in fresh water forgot about it and the jar froze and broke, still looking for a replacement for 3+ years. Just found one, if you have the same problem it was a Burma Shave jar!I put on about 2-3kmiles ( I always wanted to fix her up, never had the money) Got married, had 4 Boys went through Boy Scouts(they are all Eagles with palms), American Legion Band (Tuba), Family Vacations,Ect. Any way now it's in style to drive as it is so I 've been taking it out more, also learning more, the guy I bought it from told me just use the clutch for 1st and rev. I recently learned you could start out with just pushing the gas! The car came from Iowa, The guy at that time went out there and brought back cars and sold them, he painted the Packard, maybe I will return it to org. color some day
