VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | pOne family car, my grandfather's uncle is believed to have purchased it new. Very likely my grandfather's first car.driven into a garage in 1948. Family lore is that it was taken for a joy ride through a field by misguided youth in or about 1951-52, where it sustained all of its damage, (fenders show signs of narrow passage). It spent the next 6+ years in 3 garages ofhigh intentions. I have owned it less than a week now, (3 Mar. 21). It will shine again!! p---May, 211- rumors, being what they are, can be wrong. Our family got this car in 1937. p | ||||
