Seats were recovered by previous owner using a Packard kit. Old foam in seats is dry rotted. Headliner and door panels are pretty rough shape. Have plans to have interior redone in a couple of years.

Car was painted Moonstone from the factory (I think). The former owner painted it turquoise and white sometime after 1986. I like the two tone, it says 1950s.

VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
Was never really that much of a "car guy" but since my last name is Packard I often told my wife and children that someday I would buy a 1955 Packard (the year I was born). That someday arrivedback in February 21when I purchased a 1955 Packard Clipper Custom from a man in Kentucky. He had owned the car since 1986 when hebought it from a guy from Bristol, Tennessee. The car has the remains of an old inspection sticker from Virginiaon the windshield so I think the car has seen several states in its lifetime. Replaced the complete exhaust system and repaired exhaust manifold leak after we got it home.Replaced the window channel on the front doors asthere was little leftof the original channels.Fall of 21 I replaced the entire brake system from thepower brake unit, new brake lines, wheel cyclinders and linings.January to August 211 did a complete engine overhaul and detailed the engine compartment. The picture below was taking the day my wife and I went to Kentucky to haul the car home.
