This car was removed from a flooded creek bed in Iowa. It was to be sent to the crusher, but I purchased it and brought it home. At that time I owned four 48-49 fourdoor sedans. After I got it cleaned u
I noticed the longer hood and fenders. The trim was received months after getting the car home. I thought it was a custom 8 because of the grille and long front. The car is nowundergoing a extensive modification process (sorry guys). The stock parts from this car has helped kee

Chopped top, Firebird front sub frame, narrowed Ford rear end, modified 455 super duty Pontiac engine, disc brakes, automatic turbo transmission, Firebird seats, Firebird instrument cluster, Centerline wheels, 31.50 X 19.5 X 15 inch rear tires, 205 X 15 radial front tires, shaved of all trim, rain drip rail shaved, door corners rounded off, custom frame from firewall back with ladder bar links.
