VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
Had been a daily driver for many years with almost 3K miles. Was very tired and well broken in. The late Steve Williams told me that every weekday morning there would be a long line of cars on a busy no pass 2 lane road and the older gentleman driving the Packard into SF at 4 mph would usually be cause of it. Very large amount of rust found during restoration caused me to make at the time a not very wise decision of replacing instead of repairing but all else original, cleaned, repainted, replated, reworked etc. Next project is now non working factory air repair or probable replacement with a modern unit but keeping the innards hidden or incorporated in existing case so it looks original.
