PAINT NAME:
Black
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION:
Silver
EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION:
Black with upgraded trim package. I have not seen another 300 with the upgraded trim package to make it look like a 400. The only way to tell it's a 300 by looking is that the rear chrome stripe is still in the upper 300 spot. I personally think it looks better than a 400 this way.

"400" Chrome trim package.
Looks like a 400, except the rear chrome stripe is in the 300 spot. Originally had blue emergency personnel lights. on front bumper. The Original Owner was a dentist. 2nd owner removed them and could not locate them.
VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
21:
I am replacing parts as they are found to need it.
Just did the Master Brake Cylinder. Transmission pan is leaking, have a new gasket set to put in it. Had a mechanic do a tune-up, he got the idle speed set right, but I'm having problems with to rich a mixture. (As of nov 21)
Am rebuilding the carb, and had the manifolds sent for sandblasting. Am having a welder look at a small hole in the intake manifold that was found after blasting.
Did the Instrument Cluster. Nice and bright now!
Replaced the Bias-Ply tires with new BF Goodrich Silvertown Radials. (What a difference in handling!)
211:
Replaced intake manifold with one sold by Fred Kanter (Thanks Fred!)
Had the machine sho
mill the manifolds flat.
Overhauled Carburetor and rewired original starter switch. (Am having problem with fast idle)
Rewired the cabin blower motor.
Have a new problem. Rod Knock from the lower rod bearing on #6 piston. Have made u
my mind that next year the engine will be pulled and overhauled.
Found the parts for the rear dome light parts in the car!. Hand-built an LED 3rd brake light.
Vehicle Modifications
MODIFICATIONS:
Car was overhauled sometime in the late 1970's
Engine head was replaced by previous owner with a '48 head. (10mm spark plugs)
Am running on AC M-8 Plugs.
I built a 3rd brake light from scratch.
